Pound Ridge's Richard Slenker '17, the eldest of the quartet of Weschester athletes on this year's Yale baseball team, wound up the regular season as one of the squad's leading batters.  He led the team in hits and doubles and was second in RBI's. His .315 batting average was second on the team. In three seasons, Slenker has 124 hits and a .316 career average.

Despite finishing with a losing record (17-26-1), Yale still has a chance to compete for an Ivy League championship, as other teams finish out the season. Rain forced a 2-2 tie with Navy. The Bulldogs were 11-9 in the league and will wait to see if it will play Princeton in a series for the title.

Rye's Tim McGraw '19 played in all 44 games as a freshman and was second on the team in steals with 10.  The freshman pitching duo of Kumar Nambiar '19 (Mamamaroneck) and Griffin Dey '19 (also from Pound Ridge) each appeared in 11 or more games.
