Day of Service, 2016: Choose a Site

Yale Westchester will host seven sites for Day of Service, 2016, including (above, clockwise) Jay Heritage Center, Hudson River Sloop and Maritime Museum, the Scarsdale Teen Center, and the Scarsdale Sustainable Garden.
With Yale Day of Service, 2016, just days away, Yale Westchester is offering one of its longest lists of sites for volunteers in years. Choose a site, and register now.

Some activities continue from past Service Days (sprucing up the park at Cross River and the sustainable garden in Scarsdale).  Some are new (painting an old ship in Kingston, preparing children's fun bags in Mamaroneck). Susan Kaminsky '86, board member, is YWAA coordinator.

Yale Westchester alumni, family and friends are encouraged to explore the list below and select an activity you prefer or one that's close to you or one that could use your expertise or skills. Click YDoS-Westchester to register. (Note two of seven activities will be held May 14, a week following Yale's official Day of Service, May 7.)

Have fun, and go out and make a Westchester difference. A noticeable one that results in tidy parks, well-tended gardens, and happy smiles for special children.
