Jot the date down. Make a note. Make sure to volunteer and join other Yale alumni in community service. Yale's annual Day of Service is scheduled for Saturday, May 7. Details about sites and events in Westchester County and the New York City region will be available soon.
YWAA and Yale alumni in Westchester have typically organized 4-5 sites each year. Alumni, their families, friends and other guests have volunteered at animal shelters, parks, schools, and community gardens. They spend a day (or two?) working, cleaning, teaching, advising, and getting their hands dirty, all in efforts to make a difference in Westchester.
YWAA board member Susan Kaminsky '86 will again coordinate Westchester activities.
